The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the production and sales data on August 11. In July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 617000 and 593000 respectively, an increase of 1.2 times year-on-year.
The latest data shows that in July, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2.455 million and 2.42 million respectively, up 31.5% and 29.7% year on year respectively. Although the production and sales volume of this month is lower than that of June, it is the highest in the same period of the past years. In terms of new energy vehicles, the production and sales volume continued to maintain a rapid growth. In July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 617000 and 593000, respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 1.2 times. In addition, auto exports hit a new record high again. In July, auto enterprises exported 290000 vehicles, with an increase of 16.5% month on month and 67% year on year.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers predicts that the auto market will continue to maintain a stable growth in August under the sustained boost of the central economic stabilization package policy and the local auto consumption promotion policy, especially with the arrival of the traditional golden consumption season of the auto market in September, the production and sales of passenger cars will show a rapid growth, and the new energy vehicles and auto exports will also maintain a good performance, providing strong support for the steady growth of the whole year.
